A word to the wise, these type of pages are useless and ugly. You may think they’re protecting your work, but there are much better ways. A simple “Copyright 2009, All Rights Reserved” at the bottom of the page will do in terms of copyright infringement.
It’s interesting though, the person who had that on their site then had images in his gallery at high resolutions. Also, he didn’t have them watermarked. So, you warn them not to use them… then you give them photos big enough to make a 8×10 print.
Instead of posting a warning scaring people, watermark your images, add right click protection and understand if someone wants to steal your picture they probably will. I know that’s a hard concept to understand, but if you have right click protection a kid can just take a screen shot. If it’s watermarked someone can still post it on Facebook. Make sure your clients understand why they’ve hired a professional and why your prints will look better. Help them understand the true value of your help and expertise.
A warning page doesn’t keep them from downloading pictures or sharing them. Instead make sure people know who took them and embed a watermark in your files data.
